Finding Accomodation

A few tips to consider when booking accomodation around Vancouver:

  • Do not stay at any hotel located on East Hastings Street. That's the "bad" part of town.
  • You can easily stay outside Vancouver, but be sure to ask if the establishment is within walking distance of the SkyTrain.
  • Hotels on Kingsway are not recommended, as Kingsway is one of the busiest avenues in the Lower Mainland.
  • If you can afford to stay around Stanley Park, you're lucky. The surroundings are beautiful and the area is close to everything. Robson street, English Bay, and Denman are also nice areas to stay.
  • Richmond is highly recommended, if you are Asian from China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, or any other similar culture.
